October 2025 Monarch's Message

Greetings Prophets:

Greetings to all fellow prophets, ladies and friends. As we all know the month of October brings us

cool nights.

The changing of leaves on the trees awards us with all sort of beautiful colors. October of course

brings us Halloween for all you ghoulish Prophets and Ladies in the realm.

We also have our annual Clambake on October 11 at Reinecker's Bakery and Party Center in Macedonia to look forward to. This year the date is special for two of our Prophet's Ed Hoover and Dave Darling, it is also our birthday. We are growing ancient so we won't mention how old we are getting.

As the months in the year are dwindling down it is also time to start preparing for the upcoming holiday season. Some of us will be attending parties, others will start their holiday shopping in full force. It is a time of joy for most of us, but not for all. We need to make sure those that are struggling during this time know we are here for them.

I would like to offer congratulations to the Black Fez for winning the first place award at the Supreme Council Convention this year. Our Black Fez newsletter continues to elevate and promote our Grotto when it is received by all in the realm. Prophet Bob Wehrle deserves recognition for all the hard work he puts in as Editor and publishing the Black Fez.

Next month, at the November meeting, we will have our nominations for officers for the year 2026. At the December meeting we will then hold elections for the new year.

In closing it is important to remember that the Grotto generates life-long friendships, Sympathy and Good Fellowship. What more could we ask for?
