August 2026 Monarch's Message

To All of our Prophets, Ladies and Friends,

We hope all of you enjoyed the 4th of July celebrations. On July 11th we had our annual family

picnic. 40 plus Prophets, Ladies, Daughters and friends enjoyed a beautiful day. Thanks to all who

shared their favorite family side dish. Thank you to our cooks and planning committee.

Rhonda and I, Joe and Joani Huber, Ed Leonard, and Erik Kohl attended the 2026 Supreme Council Convention in Erie, Pa. On Tuesday night we attend the Erie Minor League Baseball Game for the Seawolves. I played in the convention golf outing and won the longest drive contest. (I was the only one who stayed in the fairway!) Seven (7) new Grotto’s were instituted last year in Battlecreek, MI; Fairfax and Damascus, VA; Minnehaha County, SD; Elizabeth City, NC; Anahuac, TX and Salisbury, NC. We took in 743 new Prophets. Eight (8) new Grotto’s are scheduled to be instituted next year. Grotto International is growing in USA, Mexico, and United Kingdom. Next year the Convention will be held in League City, Texas on June 13 -20, 2027 at the South Shore Harbour Resort Conference Center. Hope to see you there!
