Greetings Prophets:
Here we are at the end of April which soon means May flowers.
We ended March with a trip to Yusef Khan to witness an inspiring Four-Act Ceremonial. We welcome new Prophets, Brandon Mullen and Nicholas Gardner, who were initiated that evening. A delicious dinner followed the Ceremonial.
April 10, we traveled to Nazir Grotto for their inspection and their monthly Grotto meeting.
At the April 13 Executive Board meeting, a motion was approved to send to the body a request to place an ad in the New Orleans Supreme Council Convention magazine. PM David Darling proposed having a membership attendance event at our meetings to encourage member participation.
At the April Business Meeting, we initiated another new Prophet, Matthew Gardner. Thanks to the Daughters of Mokanna for serving a great spaghetti dinner before. Those present approved putting an ad in the Supreme Council convention magazine. We then heard more about the membership attendance event; more to follow.
Game Night, on April 27, was a great event with plenty of good fellowship. The month of May begins with the OGA Conference on May 17-19. The month ends with our Memorial Day services at Monroe and York cemeteries.
