June 2025 Monarch's Message

Greetings Prophets:

It looks like summer is finally here with the coming of warmer weather. We have all been hoping

for the chance to get outside and do things that we haven't been able to do, time to enjoy getting together with family and friends.

On June 15, 2025 we will be able to celebrate Father's Day. It's a great day to tell your father how

much you appreciate all he does for you. It is also a time to remember those Dad's who are no longer with us. A time to share memories with your loved ones so those men are remembered for generations. If you don't tell their stories, a part of your history dies.

Al Sirat will be having their annual Family Picnic on June 21 at Brookside Metro Park adjacent to the Brookside Temple. The Picnic starts at 3 PM, Games at 4 PM and Dinner after the Games. We would love to see you and your family all there. Good fun, good food and good friends.

A number of Al Sirat Prophets, their ladies, and Daughters of Mokanna recently attended the spring OGA Conference in Canfield Ohio on May 2 and 3. Those of us who attended had a great time supporting the Ohio Grotto Association and my only wish is that more of you would make time in your busy schedules to attend these events. It was a great time to build new friendships and foster goodwill through the realm. It was nice to be able to talk to those Prophets from other Grottoes and hear how they are attracting new members.

For those Prophets that we haven't seen for a while, be assured we miss you. We need your help to make us grow into a vibrant grotto. Your input in how we can survive as a grotto is important.
