January 2026 Monarch's Elect Message

Prophets, Ladies, and Friends: My lady, Rhonda and I hope your holidays were filled with family,

fun, fellowship, delicious food, but most of all love. Now comes the New Year’s Resolutions! Good luck in all your goals and endeavors in 2026. I am looking forward to making new friends and rekindling old friendships with our Brothers and Prophets in the coming year.

Al Sirat Grotto will start off the new year with our Annual Installation of Officers on Friday, January 16, 2026. The festivities start with a Chicken Parmesan dinner at 6:30 p.m. Reservations are required. Please call me at 216-551-0812 or email me at dadarling1011@aol.com with your reservation. The cost of dinner will be a good will offering. If anyone needs a special dinner option, please let me know and we will make arrangements for it. The Installing Officer

will be Jeff Davis, Grand Venerable Prophet of Grotto’s International and Past Monarch of Yusef Khan Grotto in Akron. We hope you will join us for this evening of fellowship as we install our officers for the coming year.

Congratulations to Monarch Ed Hoover and his core of officers for a job well done and for a year filled with fun activities with our wives and families.

We would like to welcome and congratulate our two new prophets Don Foltz and Terry Hoover, along with ErikKohl who transferred into our Grotto at our meeting in December. We look forward to having you attend our meetings and activities.

Speaking of activities, we have lots of things in store for this coming year with our Daughters and our families. MCO Lillian Kovacs and I have been making plans. So, look for those things to come.

Our next meeting will be on Monday, January 19th at 7:30 p.m. We will be celebrating the New Year! Come join us!
