I want to thank all of the Officers and committee members of Al Sirat Grotto for accepting their office this year. They make sure things happen. I would be remiss if I did not thank my wife Carole, for being Mrs. Monarch. Without her support, the job of Monarch would have been a lot more difficult.
We will resume a number of our old events and new acitivities, and try some new ones, such as Game Night. We updated our Web Site, streamlined our distribution of the Black Fez, utilizing more email to get it to you faster and significant cost savings.
I would like to thank Monarch Joseph Huber and Past Monarch Brian Spooner for accomplishing this task.
We will continue "Fermentation" meetings, a Golf Outing a catered Clam Bake and a summer picnic We'll include Daughters of Mokanna in our events, as well as friends and family.
December 16, we sponsored the Al Sirat Grotto Youth Dance at the Lakewood Masonic Temple. The dance was held following the Tri Youth Day Initiations . Tri-Youth Day and the dance have been on hold in recent years because of the COVID pandemic. We are excited to restart this event because the youth are the future of all our Masonic Organizations. It was well attended this year and we are looking forward again to next year.
We wrapped up the year with the Black Fez Christmas Party at the Brown Derby in Medina on December 28,2023.
I would like to congratulate Past Monarch Joe Huber and his Officers for a great year.My installation was on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at Brookside Temple at 2:00.
It was well attended and followed by a delicious dinner which was prepared by DOM Barbara Gannon.
Again, thank you for allowing me to serve as your Monarch.
REMEMBER "Out of sight is out of mind."
